THE Winnipeg Goldeyes have landed right-handed pitcher Jason Jarvis of the Sioux City Explorers in an American Association trade today.
Jarvis, 25, cost the Goldeyes three players to be named later and cash considerations.
Jarvis is 5-10 this season with the Explorers, with a 4.27 ERA in 18 starts and two complete games.
In 2012, the former San Francisco Giants draft pick went 9-8 with an ERA of 4.14.
The Goldeyes also announced today that they have placed left-handed pitcher Oscar Osuna on the inactive list because of an elbow injury, retroactive to Aug. 10.
The Goldeyes come home today for a three-game weekend set at Shaw Park against the Kansas City TBones, then go out for their final road trip of the season, seven games, starting Monday in Saint Paul, Minn.
