Winnipeg Goldeyes’ first baseman Casey Haerther was named the American Association player of the month for July.

Haerther hit a .425 batting average throughout the month with five home-runs and 24 RBI in 27 games. From July 10-22, he strung together 12-game hit streak and was the starting first baseman for team North during the all-star game.

On the season, Haerther holds a league-best .399 batting average with nine home-runs and 48 RBI, to go along with a league-leading 108 hits.
