Goldeyes put Kahn on waivers
The Winnipeg Goldeyes baseball team has placed right-handed pitcher Stephen Kahn on irrevocable waivers for the purpose of granting his release.
In six appearances out of the bullpen this season, Kahn had no record and an 11.86 ERA.
Manager Rick Forney now has 21 players on his team's active roster, including 11 pitchers and 10 position players.
The Goldeyes (30-20) will host the St. Paul Saints (23-26) tonight at 7 p.m. at Shaw Park in the first of a four-game set which will conclude the team's 12-game home stand.
Winnipeg has a 4-4 record over the first eight games of the home stand after being swept by the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks and sweeping the Sioux Falls Pheasants.
