Hits keep on coming as Fish whip RailCats

The start was solid, the relief was excellent, and the Winnipeg Goldeyes rode stellar pitching en route to a 5-2 win over the Gary Southshore RailCats at Canwest Park Tuesday night.

Fish starter Bear Bay scattered six hits over six innings, giving up just two runs before making way for a bullpen troika of Derek Feldkamp, Chris Homer and Matt Davis, respectively, who retired all nine batters they faced to secure the victory. Offensively, the Fish were led by first baseman Cody Ehlers who went 2-4, with a home run and two runs batted in.
