Clippers waive injured forward Trey Thompkins
LOS ANGELES, Calif. - The Los Angeles Clippers have waived forward Trey Thompkins, who didn't play in a game this season because of a bone bruise in his left knee.
He averaged 2.4 points and 1.0 rebounds in 24 games as a rookie after being drafted 37th overall out of Georgia by the Clippers in 2011.
The team announced the move Thursday.
