Kane could be in for Leafs tilt
WINNIPEG - Left-winger Evander Kane may be in Tuesday night against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Jets coach Claude Noel said this morning that Kane, who leads the team with 18 goals, will be a game-time decision for Tuesday's game at the MTS Centre.
Kane skated this morning, Noel said, and is feeling better.
The coach also said if Kane doesn't play Tuesday, he'll be targeted for Thursday's game in Washington.
Kane has missed seven games with a concussion.
Talking to reporters on the subject if his team's poor offensive output lately -- just five goals in their last six games -- Noel said more attention is required by his team.
"We've got to dig in in all those areas," Noel said.
He also pointed to the power play as a road out of the drought. It hasn't scored in six games.
"We have to execute it a lot better," Noel said.
