WINNIPEG - The Manitoba Moose added another player today to the list of signees for the 2010-11 season.

The team has signed defenceman Ryan McGinnis, 23, to an AHL contract.

More signings could be on the way later in the week. Free-agent season begins Thursday.

McGinnis joined the Moose late last season when the team’s defensive corps was depleted with injuries and call-ups and he provided a shot of stability in his eight regular-season and four playoff appearances.

The native of Flint, Mich., had played most of the 2009-10 season with the Kalamazoo Wings of the ECHL, though he does have 52 AHL games on his chart with Norfolk, Albany and now the Moose.
