WINNIPEG - Two provincial byelections have been announced for Manitoba.
Premier Greg Selinger says voting has been scheduled for Jan. 28 in Arthur-Virden and Morris.
The vacancy in Arthur-Virden was created when incumbent Tory Larry Maguire left to eke out a narrow win in a federal byelection.
The Morris seat was vacated by the retirement of fellow Conservative Mavis Taillieu.
There are currently 37 New Democrats, 17 Progressive Conservatives and one Liberal in the Manitoba Legislature.
