Calgary Stampeders sign defensive lineman Teryl White to practice roster

CALGARY - The Calgary Stampeders signed import defensive lineman Teryl White to their practice roster Monday.

The six-foot-five, 278-pound native of Macon, Ga., was on the B.C. Lions' practice roster last year. He has also spent time with the NFL's St. Louis Rams, Seattle Seahawks and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Calgary will close out its regular season Friday at Edmonton.

The 11-6 Stampeders have won three straight games and will finish second in the West Division standings.
