SOCHI, Russia -- Canada's Corryn Brown remains looking for her first win at the world junior curling championships.

Brown and her Kamloops, B.C., team of third Erin Pincott, second Samantha Fisher, and lead Sydney Fraser dropped a 9-4 decision to Japan's Sayaka Yoshimura on Sunday morning.

The Canadians fell to 0-4. Japan and defending world champion Hannah Fleming of Scotland are 4-0.

"I think pressure definitely is a factor and I think having the Maple Leaf on your back is a big target," Brown said. "We just have to give it our everything out there and hopefully pull out a couple of wins in the next couple of games."

Winnipeg's Matt Dunstone lost 6-4 to Sweden's Patric Mabergs on Sunday.

Dunstone and his team -- third Colton Lott, second Daniel Grant and lead Brendan MacCuish -- fell to 3-2, and are in a four-way tie for third with Italy's Amos Mosaner, Russia's Evgeny Arkhipov, and the Swedes. Norway's Eirik Mjoen and Scotland's Kyle Smith lead with 4-0 records.

Sunday's game came down to the final rock.

"No game is easy. And that's what surprised me most," Dunstone said. "We go in thinking, 'OK, this might be our easy game,' but every game has come down to last rock. We're just happy to be here and happy to be in close games.

"The guys work hard," he added. "They do anything they can to make us win and they've done all they can so far, so I couldn't ask any more of them."

The women face Czech Republic's Iveta Janatova today, while the men play Italy.
