Nude curling calendar gets German attention

THE 2009 Nude Curling Calendar is the story that just keeps on giving -- even at the end of January.

Now, it's the German media that have discovered that curlers taking off their clothes just might be a story. The Curling News reports the sudden interest was the result of German curler Daniela Jentsch agreeing to the release of her uncropped calendar photo to the German magazine, Welt.

The story in Welt caused a sensation and at least four other German media outlets piled on, not to mention an Austrian paper. All in the pursuit of journalism, you understand.
