Healthy scratch

Ready Freddy

Bombers tailback Fred Reid practised on Friday and said after the workout he was 85 per cent. "But I'll be 100 per cent by Sunday," said Reid.

Missing Martell

Reports out of B.C. say the Lions will not dress rookie running back Martell Mallett (right), who has a sore foot. The Lions will go with A.J. Harris and he'll be backed up by Jamall Lee.

Thankyou to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers for a strong showing as of late. Do not lower yourselves into jawing matches with these players from BC. Believe in yourselves and your teammates. When they say or do things that try to get you guys off your game just store it inside and play that much harder between the whistles. Every player has so much energy to give during the game and why waste it on foolish rhetoric. 3 phases of team effort by the WBBs paying attention to rip strip and INT possibilities for and against for 3 hours and we could be in a position of a shot at respectability in this league by ALL teams including the league leaders.
