The Winnipeg Blue Bombers added a couple of new import defensive players to their roster on Wednesday.
Gabe Loper (6-foot-2, 186 pounds, South Alabama) had 52 tackles with 3 INTs as a defensive back during the 2011 and 2012 seasons at South Alabama. He also played some wide receiver during 2013.
Kenny Tate (6-foot-4, 220 lbs, Maryland) had a five-year career with Maryland and was a first team all-ACC selection at linebacker following his junior year, when he recorded 100 tackles, 3.5 sacks and 3 interceptions.
