Bombers release Fritz, Pasco

The Blue Bombers have released import defensive lineman Rodney Fritz and import defensive back Darrell Pasco.

Fritz had seven tackles and one sack in parts of two seasons with the Blue Bombers, while Pasco recorded two tackles in three games dating back to last season.

The moves were made to make room for the return of Brandon Collier and Kenny Mainor, expected to return to the line-up as early as Friday’s game.

The Bombers had sold 27,500 tickets for Friday’s home game against the Montreal Alouettes as of late yesterday.

The club is hoping to announce its ninth straight sellout at home.
