Bombers sign Massey

A rookie punt returner will join the Winnipeg Blue Bombers at training camp, as he looks to make the roster.

On Thursday, the Bombers announced they had signed receiver and returner Jameze Massey, who hails from North Carolina. Massey, 22, was named first-team All-CIAA as a punt returner with Winston Salem State last season. The 5’8", 170-lb. player went to the NCAA Division II championship game with Winston Salem, notching nine catches for 187 yards and a touchdown in the loss.

He averaged 20 yards per catch over his senior season, with 56 receptions for 1,156 yards and led the team in touchdowns with 14.
