Bombers to wear gold on the road

The Blue Bombers will be wearing gold on the road rather than white this season.

The club unveiled two new jerseys on Tuesday, including a blue home uniform and a gold road set.

The jerseys are part of a league-wide initiative to update the quality of jerseys while celebrating the heritage of the league on the 100th anniversary of the Grey Cup.

The new jerseys have increased elasticity, resiliency and moisture wicking technology.

Bombers CEO Garth Buchko revealed the jerseys.

"We are very excited about the new look of our team and we know our fans will be too," Buchko. "There has been a lot of detailing and planning by our organization to come up with this new look and we are very proud of the end result."
