Call it shock and awe.

Stunned football fans filed out of the Banjo Bowl in silence after the worst team in the league beat the best.

"It's crazy," said Saskatchewan Roughrider fan Kyle Lakness after attending his fifth Banjo Bowl. "It hurt my feelings," said the sullen Regina man wearing a disposable white jump suit with green writing on it.

"It's surprising," said Niki Hatchett from Regina. She was at last weekend's Labour Day Classic in Regina and was expecting Saskatchewan to lay another whooping on Winnipeg.

The Winnipeg fans also seemed dazed and confused by the Blue Bomber 25-13 win.

"I expected a blowout," said Jamie Lauber at a tailgate party on campus.

"We beat those Rider fans out of the stadium."
