First game at new stadium: Bombers vs. Als on June 27

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers will play their home opener June 27 against the Montreal Alouettes.

The CFL will release its entire schedule on Tuesday but the Free Press has been able to confirm the Bombers will host the Als in their first home game of the season.

Bombers CEO Garth Buchko said he expects the new stadium to be ready for action this spring.

In other Bombers news, the club announced Monday they had released safety Brady Browne.
