Four Bombers named to all-star squad
The individual honours keep rolling in for some members of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
The Canadian Football League Players Association released its all-star team on Wednesday – voted on by the players themselves - and it includes running back Fred Reid and three members of the Bomber defensive line, Doug Brown, Phillip Hunt and Odell Willis.

Interestingly, there are some notable differences between the CFLPA all-star team and the one voted on by The Football Reporters of Canada, coaches and fans.
Some examples:
-Bomber slotback Terrence Edwards, who finished second in the CFL in receiving yardage, was not on the CFLPA team.
-Andy Fantuz, the Saskatchewan slotback who led the league in receiving, was also omitted.
-Dan Goodspeed (Ssk) and Patrick Kabongo (Edm), were selected along the O-line even though they never even made the West All-Star team in the FRC voting.
-Kevin Huntley, the mammoth defensive tackle from the Argos, was not on the CFLPA team, replaced by Dario Romero of the Esks.
Translation: for all the complaints the media guys who vote on the all-star team get from players, I really believe ours is a better representation of the play on the field this season. That’s just my opinion, feel free to discuss among yourselves.
