BOMBERS DB JOHNNIE SEARS ON THE 622 YARDS OF OFFENCE THE BOMBERS GAVE UP TO THE STAMPEDERS:
"It hurts. As a defence, that's embarrassing. You don't let that happen. It's a rude awakening to everyone in this organization that (stuff) needs to happen fast. Like now. We've got to make a collective effort to make it happen. It's not going to be me, it's not going to be any one individual, it's not just going to be the defence. It has to be everyone."
BOMBERS DB JOVON JOHNSON ON WHETHER HE WISHES THIS SEASON WOULD JUST END:
"It's going to end at some point. And it might end with nobody on the team being here next year. That might be the way it ends."
JOHNSON ON WHAT WENT WRONG WITH THE BOMBERS DEFENCE SATURDAY:
"Don't get me into talking about anything that happened in the game. I've got no comments on that... As bad as I want to tell you all how I feel, I'm not."
SEARS ON WHAT'S LEFT TO PLAY FOR WITH THE BOMBERS AT 2-12 AND JUST FOUR GAMES LEFT IN THE REGULAR SEASON:
"I'm playing for my pride. This is what I do. This is all I do. I don't do nothing else -- I don't play basketball or soccer. I play football for a living. I love this game. And so next week I'm going to come out and play like I always do -- as hard as I can and to win."
BOMBERS HEAD COACH TIM BURKE ON WHY HE SAT CFL SACK LEADER ALEX HALL FOR EXTENDED PERIODS:
"There was a period in the game where I didn't think he was playing very well, so I told them to pull him out for awhile."
HALL, WHO'S BEEN THE SUBJECT OF TRADE RUMOURS IN THE LEAD-UP TO WEDNESDAY'S TRADING DEADLINE, ON WHETHER HE'D THOUGHT ABOUT SATURDAY POSSIBLY BEING HIS LAST APPEARANCE AS A BOMBER:
"Not really. I can't control that."
BOMBERS QB MAX HALL ON AN IMPROVED, BUT STILL DEFICIENT, PERFORMANCE ON OFFENCE:
"I thought I played better this week in the aspect I didn't make any really bad decisions. The one interception was because my arm got hit as I was throwing the ball. So I thought I cleaned up the mistakes that I'd made. And so that's a good thing. But now we have to finish drives and catch the ball and stop making other mistakes."
LB HENOC MUAMBA ON A 208-YARD RUSHING PERFORMANCE BY CALGARY RB JON CORNISH:
"I don't think he did really anything special at all. Not that he's not good -- he's a good running back. But he didn't do anything special -- he just ran hard and we made mistakes and didn't accomplish our assignments"
MUAMBA ON WHAT HAPPENED TO A BOMBERS DEFENCE THAT UNTIL THIS WEEK WAS THE LEAST OF THE TEAM'S PROBLEMS:
"I feel like a lot of guys tried to do a little too much -- and that's what happens. This is the biggest team sport in the whole world and everybody's got one job to do... If one guy has to do someone else's job, you get creased. And I think it happened a little too many times today"
BOMBERS OL GLENN JANUARY ON YET ANOTHER LOSS AND WHAT IS NOW A 2-12 REGULAR-SEASON RECORD:
"It's getting tougher and tougher with each game like this. And I know it's getting tough for our fans. We're feeling it just like everyone else."
