Hand this one to Clarence Denmark -- the Bombers receiver paid a price in pain, but if he hadn't hauled down an urgent 58-yard bomb that set up the Bombers' second touchdown, it might have been over earlier than it was... he finished with five catches for 115 yards, his biggest outing of the season.
The whole night was a defensive grind, but the Bombers had little answer for mean Riders defensive end John Chick, who clawed his way through to the Bombers quarterback three times, a season high for him.

With just over two minutes left to play and the Bombers reeling from the winning interception touchdown, Aaron Woods' spirited 33-yard scamper helped keep life in the Bombers' game -- especially as he drew an unnecessary roughness penalty on the play.

Don't count on seeing Henoc Muamba back home in Canada any time soon: The former Bombers linebacker was a beast in his pre-season NFL debut for the Indianapolis Colts. He racked up nine tackles, two assisted tackles and a forced fumble in a 13-10 loss to the New York Jets.
