Today's Bomber Report

Walking wounded

Both SB Jabari Arthur and punter Mike Renaud were hobbling about while watching practice on Thursday. The two have recently undergone season-ending surgeries.

QB watch

Bomber QB prospect D.J. Shockley was released from the Atlanta Falcons practice roster this week, but hasn't cleared NFL waivers yet. He won't likely be on the Blue radar screen until 2010.

Numbers game

Not sure how many games he'll suit up for, but Troy Westwood trails Danny McManus by eight games on the CFL's all-time games-played list. Lou Passaglia is first at 408; McManus is sixth at 298; Westwood is seventh at 290.

In case you didn't notice tonight, Glenn and Bryant had great games. I still think we have idiots running the BB, despite the three recent wins.

I am not happy for Troy because he represents failure for the Blue Bombers. His presence means they are farther from becoming a successful team - but until they get a new coach to replace Doctor Evil they will never be successful.

BFoCM: "I would trade Mtls problems for ours in a heart beat. Better coach, OC, DC, players and fans. Happy for Troy and Simpson but pretty much know this is over already."
