OTTAWA, Ont. -- Former Winnipeg Blue Bombers assistant coach Jamie Barresi is returning to the University of Ottawa.

Barresi was named Ottawa's head coach and program manager for the Gee-Gees football program. He played quarterback at the school for four seasons and began his coaching career there in 1981.

Barresi became the Hamilton Tiger-Cats' offensive co-ordinator in 2004 and since then has also coached with the B.C. Lions, Saskatchewan Roughriders and Blue Bombers. Last year, Barresi served as the Edmonton Eskimos run game co-ordinator.
