Montreal Alouettes sign veteran CFL linebacker Ejiro Kuale to three-year deal
MONTREAL - The Montreal Alouettes signed veteran CFL linebacker Ejiro Kuale to a three-year contract Monday.
The Alouettes also signed defensive back Kendric Burney to a two-year deal.
The six-foot-two, 240-pound Kuale spent the last three seasons with the Toronto Argonauts, helping the club capture the 2012 Grey Cup. Kuale, 29, began his CFL career with the Calgary Stampeders in 2009 after spending time in the NFL with the New Orleans Saints and Kansas City Chiefs.
The five-foot-nine, 190-pound Burney signed as a rookie free agent in 2011 with the Carolina Panthers and spent time on the St. Louis Rams' practice roster last season.
