Saskatchewan Roughriders acquire kicker McKnight from Edmonton Eskimos
REGINA - The Saskatchewan Roughriders acquired kicker Brody McKnight and a 2013 sixth-round pick from the Edmonton Eskimos on Friday for two fifth-round selections in this year's CFL draft.
The six-foot, 204-pound McKnight was a first-round selection by Montreal in the 2011 CFL draft. The Eskimos landed McKnight from the Alouettes on Sept. 12 for Canadian kicker Derek Schiavone and 2013 first and fourth-round draft picks.
McKnight, a native of Vancouver, appeared in three games with Edmonton.
