LaPo taking analyst seat in TSN booth
TSN has hired former Winnipeg Blue Bombers head coach Paul LaPolice for its CFL on TSN panel for the playoffs and upcoming 100th Grey Cup.
LaPolice will be a guest analyst beginning this weekend, both on the panel and in a new feature TSN is calling Coaches Playbook. He'll join host Dave Randorf and regulars Chris Schultz, Matt Dunigan, Jock Climie and Milt Stegall on the panel and will also appear in the new segment, breaking down plays from the post-season games the network will be broadcasting.
"I'm extremely excited to join the CFL ON TSN and be a part of the team broadcasting the historic 100th GREY CUP," LaPolice said in TSN's release. "The fact that anything can happen in the playoffs is what makes the next few weeks in the CFL so interesting -- and fans will definitely be in for some thrilling games and a few surprises."
LaPolice led the Blue Bombers to the 2011 Grey Cup game and was a finalist for CFL coach of the year but was fired by the team after a 2-6 start this season.
