Bisons best at U.S. golf tournament
University of Manitoba's Bryce Barr shared individual honours and the Bisons won their third straight tournament in the U.S. this weekend with the victories at the Saint John's Fall Invitational today in Sauk Center, Minn.
Barr shot 143 for the two days, including a 68 today, matching the total of Josh Grisa of the University of Wisconsin-Stout in the individual scores.
The Bisons (also including Josh Wytinck, Charlie Boyechko, Scott Mazure and Burke Wiebe) finished first among 21 teams with a score of 590, two better than Nebraska Weslayan University.
U of M has scored previous tournament victories so far this fall season at Concordia and Bemidji.
