Steep honoured by Manitoba PGA

WINNIPEG -- It has turned out to be a good year for Glendale golf professional Andrew Steep.

Steep was honoured by the PGA of Manitoba at its annual awards reception with three major awards, Taylor Made adidas player of the year, golf professional of the year and merchandiser of the year.

Steep's playing award included a victory in the division's Callaway June Classic and a second at the mid-summer Titleist Footjoy PGA of Manitoba championship.

Other PGA of Manitoba awards handed out included to Glen Sirkis of The Meadows at East St. Paul as junior leader of the year, Cory Kartusch of St. Charles Country Club as teacher of the year and Tim Tabor of Glendale as assistant of the year.
