An escort? A hooker? It's not true, women say

  • Print
THE more information that comes out about Tiger Woods' alleged romantic dalliances, the more impressed we are that he managed to keep it under wraps for so long.

In the latest bit of tawdriness, Michelle Braun, the owner of a now-defunct escort service, claimed Friday that the pro golfer was one of her clients -- and, in fact, the service introduced him to two of his possible mistresses, porn star Holly Sampson and lingerie model Jamie Jungers. Braun told E! News that Woods spent three weekends in Las Vegas with her employees, spending up to US$40,000 per trip.

"He had a pretty big appetite for girls," Braun said. "He would request the college-cutie, girls-next-door look."

On the Today Show Friday morning, Jungers denied ever working as a call girl.

"That's all funny. I've never even heard the woman's name," she told Meredith Vieira. "I've never been an escort, never will be an escort."

However, the blond did claim to have spent the night in Woods' mansion while his wife was away.

"This happened probably a month after we'd been seeing each other," Jungers said. "He flew me out, came and picked me up at the airport and I stayed there for a night."

Meanwhile, Rachel Uchitel, another of Woods' apparent lady friends, was not happy when the women of The View called her a prostitute.

"Uchitel, she's a hooker!" Joy Behar said during Friday's show, prompting Los Angeles attorney Gloria Allred to issue a defensive statement on Uchitel's behalf.

"This statement was very hurtful to Rachel because it is not true," Allred said.

The damage to Uchitel's reputation pales in comparison to the damage done to Woods', who lost yet another sponsorship deal this week. Swiss watchmaker Tag Heuer has dropped its line of ads featuring Woods.

But, just like Gatorade claimed earlier this week, the general manager of Tag Heuer denied the decision had anything to do with recent events.

So now Woods is only worth $990 million instead of $1 billion? This scandal is clearly takings its toll.
