Barr holds hot hand as Bisons win on links

THE UNIVERSITY of Manitoba's Bryce Barr shared individual honours and the Bisons won their third straight tournament in the U.S. at the Saint John's Fall Invitational in Sauk Center, Minn. over the weekend.

Barr shot 143 for the two days, including a 68 Sunday, matching the total of Josh Grisa of the University of Wisconsin-Stout in the individual scores.

The Bisons (also including Josh Wytinck, Charlie Boyechko, Scott Mazure and Burke Wiebe) finished first among 21 teams with a score of 590, two better than Nebraska Weslayan University.

U of M scored previous tournament victories this fall season at Concordia and Bemidji.
