Thailand's Kiradech Aphibarnrat holds clubhouse lead in rain-hit 3rd round at Malaysian Open

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia - Kiradech Aphibarnrat of Thailand shot a 7-under 65 to hold the clubhouse lead after the second round on Saturday before the Malaysian Open was suspended for the third straight day because of thunderstorms.

The leaders were just beginning their third round when the weather forced them indoors at the Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Club.

Kiradech was 11 under after two holes of the third round, a stroke ahead of 2011 Masters champion Charl Schwartzel, who shot a 68 and then had a birdie and par in his third round.

Three-time major winner Padraig Harrington completed four holes of the third round after a second-round 68 to have a share of third place at 9 under with Anders Hansen, Edoardo Molinari, Peter Lawrie, Victor Dubuisson, Gregory Bourdy and Wu Ashun.
