Dustin Sylvester's three points help lead Ice past Warriors 5-2

CRANBROOK, B.C. - Dustin Sylvester had two goals and added an assist as the Kootenay Ice defeated the Moose Jaw Warriors 5-2 in Western Hockey League action Tuesday night.

The Warriors opened the scoring on Jesse Paradis' eighth of the season 4:49 into the game before Sylvester tied it three minutes later with his 30th goal.

Moose Jaw (26-20-8) made it 2-1 early in the second when Spencer Edwards converted a 2-on-1 less than a minute into the period.

Sylvester then fed Ryan Molle for his second of the season to tie it at 3:07 before putting the Ice up for good three minutes later.

Kootenay (35-17-5) added singles from Joe Antilla and Matt Fraser in the third for a 5-2 final.

Todd Mathews stopped 28 of 30 shots to get the win while Jeff Bosch turned aside 20 of 25 shots to take the loss.
