Moose to name Noel coach Monday
The Manitoba Moose have called a press conference for Monday at 11 a.m. where they will name Claude Noel the sixth coach in franchise history.
Noel, who finished last season as the interim head coach of the Columbus Blue Jackets, will replace Scott Arniel, now the head of the Blue Jackets.
The Free Press first reported on Friday afternoon that Noel had been offered the job with an announcement forthcoming.
Noel is a veteran coach who led the Milwaukee Admirals to the Calder Cup in 2003-04.
