Jets fans can watch IceCaps on Sportsnet Friday night
Winnipeg Jet fans will be able to monitor the progress of the team’s prospects on the farm Friday night on Sportsnet.
The St. John’s IceCaps will meet the Hamilton Bulldogs in Steeltown Friday and the game will be broadcast live nationally, with puck drop scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
St. John’s is currently fifth in the Atlantic Division with a 13-15-1 record. Defenceman Derek Meech leads the IceCaps with 16 points (3G, 13A) while fellow rearguard Zach Redmond (8G, 7A) and Spencer Machacek (7G, 8A) trail closely behind with 15 points each.
The Hockey Central panel of host Jeff Marek and analysts John Shannon and Nick Kypreos will break down the game with pre-game and intermission analysis. RJ Broadhead calls the play-by-play alongside analyst Sam Cosentino and host Rob Faulds.
This will be the first of two IceCaps games to be broadcast on Sportsnet with the last taking place next Friday, Dec. 28th also against the Bulldogs.
