 ABOUT THE PANTHERS

Florida is riding a two-game win streak, rallying twice in the third period to beat the Jets 6-3 last Thursday -- scoring four unanswered in the third -- and coming from behind again in a 4-3 decision over Buffalo on Sunday.

Jets killer Kris Versteeg has picked up 12 points (8G, 4A) in six games against Winnipeg dating back to last season.

Veteran winger Alex Kovalev needs two assists for 600 in his career. He is sixth among active NHL players in scoring with 1,028 points.

Heading into Monday's NHL action, Panthers D-man Brian Campbell was tied for second in the league with four power-play goals, one behind San Jose's Patrick Marleau. Two of Campbell's goals have been game-winners.
