3 more Jets games lost as NHL cancels games through Nov. 1

TORONTO -- The NHL responded to Thursday's bargaining debacle by canceling another wave of games today.

The league said in a short press release that games are now canceled through Nov. 1.

That group of games includes three more for the Winnipeg Jets, home games against Florida and Detroit on Oct. 25 and 27 and a game in Tampa on Nov. 1. A total of 135 games have now been canceled.

No new talks are scheduled in the NHL-NHLPA labour impasse as of this afternoon.
