Jets change start times for 3 games

Get out those calendars to update your fall/winter schedules, Winnipeg Jet fans -- the team has announced three start-time changes to games this year, including their home opener.

The Jets have altered the start times previously announced in June, but the only home game affected is the Oct. 13th home opener at MTS Centre against the Carolina Hurricanes. Puck drop for that game has been moved up an hour from 2 p.m. to 1 p.m.

The other changes involve road games -- Winnipeg’s first preseason game in Edmonton at Rexall Place on Sept. 24th will now start at 8:30 p.m. CT with their visit to Dallas on Feb. 21st now changed to 7:30 p.m. from 7.
