Jets return defenceman to AHL

Hey there, time traveller!
This article was published 24/11/2013 (916 days ago), so information in it may no longer be current.

The Winnipeg Jets sent defenceman Julian Melchiori back to their AHL farm club on Sunday, a sign that rookie blueliner Jacob Trouba could be returning to the healthy ranks.

Melchiori, 21, was called up on Nov. 16 to bolster a battered Jets blueline, though he did not see any ice time.

The Winnipeg Jets have sent Julian Melchiori back to St. John's.
