The Winnipeg Jets announced they have inked winger Anthony Peluso to a new two-year contract worth $1.125 million.
Claimed off waivers last January, the 24-year-old Peluso appeared in five games with the Jets (0G, 2A) before breaking his hand in a fight.
The North York, Ont. Was originally drafted by the St. Louis Blues in the sixth round, 160th overall, in the 2007 NHL Draft. He was picked up off waivers by the Winnipeg Jets in early 2012.
