WINNIPEG — For a third straight year, the Winnipeg Jets will hold a local draft party on the day of the NHL entry draft.

This year's draft is June 30 in Newark, N.J., and the Jets have chosen the new Shark Club in Cityplace as the venue for their local event.

Jets skaters Mark Stuart and James Wright will be in attendance at the Shark Club, available for autographs and photos. Fans attending will also be eligible for prizes.

Tickets for the draft party, restricted to those 18 and over, will go on sale Monday at noon for $30, through the team's website, www.winnipegjets.com.

The team said in an announcement today that the doors to the Shark Club will open at 1 p.m. on draft day. MTS Centre and Jets public-address announcer Jay Richardson will host the party, with TSN's broadcast of the draft beginning at 2 p.m. on all 57 monitors in the new restaurant/bar.
