Rangers goaltender Henrik Lundqvist on Kane’s second goal, the game-winner: "I’ve gone over it a couple of times and I’ve tried to find out a reason for why I picked it up a little late. It doesn’t matter. I need to stop it. It’s a tough one. It really is."


New York has now dropped four straight to fall to 8-8-2. "We can say all the things we want to say, we just have to stay with it," said Rangers coach John Tortorella. "We’ll come to work tomorrow, see what our health is, keep on going abour our business each day."


Winnipeg now heads home to face the New Jersey Devils on Thursday night. Game time is 7 p.m. The Washington Capitals visit Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock.
