Winnipeg Jets trade Esposito for McArdle

WINNIPEG -- The Winnipeg Jets have made a trade for a second straight day, today acquiring tough guy Kenndal McArdle from the Florida Panthers in exchange for prospect Angelo Esposito.

McArdle, 24, has played just 33 games for the Panthers in the last three seasons, spending much of his time with Rochester of the AHL.

The Toronto native played 166 games for the AHL Amerks collecting 34 goals, 68 points and 279 penalty minutes.

McArdle earned a gold medal with Team Canada at the 2007 world junior in Sweden.
