About the Wild

Minnesota rolls into town after the Christmas break and, like the Jets, trying to forget an iffy performance on Dec. 23. The Wild fell in Philly 4-1 on Monday and are 0-3 on their current four-game road trip (with the Christmas break in between games three and four).

The Wild have just nine regulation goals in their last seven games and have scored more than two regulation goals just once in nine games.

Zach Parise, tied with Mikko Koivu for the Wild scoring lead, missed the Flyers game with a lower-body injury and is questionable for the game tonight.

Ryan Suter is on a seven-game assist streak, a career high. Suter has topped the 30-minute mark in five of the last six games, 14 of the last 24 contests and 19 times overall this season.

Since 2007-08, there have been 10 35-minutes-plus performances in the NHL regular season and Suter had three of them in the span of six days this season -- the top three TOI of his career.

Strange but true: Ondrej Pavelec is 0-2-1 against the Wild this season, but with a 1.97 GAA and a .933 save percentage.

Minnesota is 12-2-5 in one-goal games this season (.632) -- only Anaheim (14-1-5) has more wins and points from one-goal games. Nine of the last 11 Wild wins have been decided by one goal, as Minnesota has claimed victories in five of its last six shootouts.
