Tonight: Bruins @ Jets
ABOUT THE BRUINS
-- The Bruins are 6-3-1 in their last 10, are coming off a 2-1 loss in Pittsburgh and are just one point back of the Northeast Division-leading Montreal Canadiens.
-- Boston will likely be without David Krejci, who was hit on the right leg on a shot by teammate Johnny Boychuk Sunday. The Bruins recalled Ryan Spooner from Providence on Monday and he'd play if Krejci can't go. Spooner leads Providence in scoring with 12 goals and 33 assists.
-- Veteran defenceman Zdeno Chara turned 36 on Monday.
-- Goaltender Tuukka Rask's 1.92 goals-against average is tied for second-best in the NHL, behind Ottawa's Craig Anderson (1.79).
-- The Bruins penalty-kill unit is No. 1 in the NHL with a 93.1 per cent success rate. They have surrendered just seven power-play goals in 101 chances.
-- Patrice Bergeron is the NHL's top faceoff man, with a 61.9 percentage.
