Buff out again; Bogosian still a week away
OTTAWA -- It's been more than a week now and Winnipeg Jets defenceman Dustin Byfuglien remains sidelined with an undisclosed injury.
Byfuglien will miss his fifth straight game today, receiving treatment at home. He was seen at the MTS Centre Friday watching the Toronto Maple Leafs practise. The Jets say Byfuglien remains "day-to-day."

As Byfuglien was missing, injured defenceman Zach Bogosian did participate in his first full practice with the team since being cleared for activity. He had off-season wrist surgery and hasn't yet played in 2013. He's likely a week or so away from game action.

With Ondrej Pavelec out, the Jets scrambled to find a fill-in goalie for their practice on the road and found one in Ottawa-area native Chris Boucher, 29.
Boucher is a former NCAA goalie who played in England until last year.
"Fortunately for me it wasn't my first time," he said after practice. "When I was 17, I got to go with the Senators a few times.
"I knew their video coach. I played up to last year but now I'm retired and I'm working full-time evenings and I don't play much hockey anymore so when I got the call this morning to come out, I was like 'Yes, I get to play some good hockey again.' "
For his trouble, Boucher received tickets to today's game, and he said because he's a Habs fan, he can easily cheer today for the Jets.
Boucher was asked if he saw any high, hard shots. "(Olli) Jokinen, I got one off the shoulder. It didn't hurt at all... I'm used to it but he felt so bad he started doing pushups. I told him that was a muffin anyway, not to worry about it."
Boucher and Jets defenceman Grant Clitsome are friends.
"I played junior with him; he's a couple of years older than I am," Clitsome said. "And summer hockey all the time and grew up in kind of the same neighbourhood so I know him pretty well."
