TONIGHT

LIGHTNING (13-17-1) at JETS (16-14-2)

MTS Centre, 7 p.m.

TV: TSN Jets

Radio: TSN 1290

About the Lightning:

-- Tampa rolls into Winnipeg on a two-game slide, including a 5-3 loss in Ottawa Saturday afternoon in which the Senators built a 4-0 lead in the first period.

-- With Anders Lindback injured, veteran Mathieu Garon got the start in net for the Bolts on Saturday, but was yanked after giving up three goals on 11 shots.

-- Tampa's injured list features Lindback, captain Vinny Lecavalier and forwards Benoit Pouliot and Ryan Malone. This note from Erik Erlendsson of the Tampa Tribune: With all the injuries the Lightning iced a roster featuring seven rookies and 10 players who appeared in the minors this season.

-- Defenceman Brian Lee, placed on waivers Friday by the Lightning, cleared on Saturday. The club has signed U.S. college free-agent defenceman Andrej Sustr.

-- For all their woes, Tampa Bay is 8-2-0 vs. the Southeast this season.

-- Steven Stamkos leads the NHL with 21 goals. He scored his 200th career NHL goal on Mar. 18, making him the fourth youngest player in NHL history to reach that plateau at 23 years old, 41 days. Only Wayne Gretzky (21 years, 256 days), Mario Lemieux (22/148) and Jet icon Dale Hawerchuk (22/266) were younger.
