Montreal 4, Jets 3

★ Tomas Plekanec, Montreal. Not sure if he meant to, but banking in a power-play goal in the third decided the game.
Related Items
★★ Olli Jokinen, Jets. Plus player, two points. Starting to look at home in this lineup.

MYSTERY THEATRE:
Mark Scheifele was a healthy scratch for the third game in a row and the Jets are mum on anything concerning their 19-year-old forward beyond the given day. Scheifele took extra drills and skating Tuesday morning in Montreal, as is the custom when a player sits out. If Scheifele plays three more games for the Jets, the first year of his entry-level contract will take effect but there is no time rule that says when he must be returned to his juinor team in Barrie, Ont.
UP NEXT:
The Jets stayed over in Montreal with rest in mind, and fly to Florida today. Their three-game road trip continues Thursday night with a game in Sunrise, Fla., against the Panthers (6:30 p.m., TSN Jets, TSN1290).
