Lineup changes? Winnipeg head coach Claude Noel said Friday he was contemplating some changes for today's game against the 1-1-1 Coyotes.
That could mean a switch to veteran goalie Chris Mason after No. 1 man Ondrej Pavelec lost his first two starts. Pavelec's save percentage in those two games was .833.
Noel was also tinkering with his lines at Friday's practice, placing Evander Kane (above) with Nik Antropov and Alexander Burmistrov once again.
Mark Scheifele skated shifts with Kyle Wellwood and Tim Stapleton, leaving open the possibility that Stapleton could draw in today.
On defence, neither Randy Jones nor Derek Meech have played yet.
About the Coyotes: The Coyotes are 1-2, having picked up their first win of the season on Thursday with a 5-2 victory over the Nashville Predators. Captain Shane Doan continues to lead the Coyotes and is tops in scoring with three goals and two assists. The Coyotes have made the playoffs the last two seasons in a row.
