About the Jets
Now heading into a stretch of three road games in four nights: tonight vs. the Bolts, Friday vs. the Panthers and Sunday in Montreal... Expected to have both Dustin Byfuglien and Alex Burmistrov back in the lineup. Byfuglien was paired with Toby Enstrom at Wednesday's practice while Burmistrov worked on a line with Aaron Gagnon and Antti Miettinen... Nik Antropov has picked up points (3G, 3A) in five of his last six games... Ondrej Pavelec is expected to start in goal for the Jets.
About the Lightning
One of the NHL's hottest clubs, having reeled off five straight wins and are now within four points of the Jets with two games in hand... The Lightning have won seven straight home games against the Thrashers/Jets; their last defeat against this franchise coming on March 21, 2009... Tampa is coming off a 4-3 OT win over the Caps, the winner scored by Steven Stamkos who now has a league-leading 33 goals. Stamkos has 24 points, including 17 goals, in his last 20 games... Mathieu Garon, who was in goal for the win over Washington, will get the nod again.
