About the Jets
Have picked up points in four consecutive games (3-0-1)... The game against the Bolts will be the fourth of this eight-game homestand which will also include visits by St. Louis, Edmonton, Florida and Buffalo... Dustin Byfuglien had a goal and an assist against the Flyers to extend his point streak to four games (1G, 6A). Byfuglien now has 11 points (3G, 8A) in his last seven games... Tim Stapleton picked up three assists vs. Philly, his first career three-point game... Evander Kane has four goals in his last four games.
About the Lightning
Tampa will be without Vincent Lecavalier (hand) indefinitely after he was injured last Saturday... All the wheeling and dealing Tampa GM Steve Yzerman has made in the last little while now means the club has two first-round picks and as many as four selections in the second... Even with the roster shuffle, Tampa is 5-3-2 in its last 10 and at 27-26-6 are just five points back of the Jets with three games in hand... Tampa's goaltending duo of Mathieu Garon and Dwayne Roloson ranks dead last in goals against average (3.24) and save percentage (.892).
